Abstract: In 2016 the book Verbal Behavior Analysis, Inducing and Expanding New Verbal Capabilities in Children with Language Delays by R.D. Greer and D. Ross was translated in Italian and brought to the attention of ABA master students, associations and services for autism, all over the Country. Early data about the impact of the book in the application and conceptualization of the science in Italy will be discussed. Dissemination of the science in Italy, France and other European Countries without academic tradition in the field will be also discussed. The presentation will include a description of a seven-steps program for promoting the analytic and progressive components of ABA and VB, as suggested by Leaf et al. (2016) A commentary about the challenges of implementation of Verbal Behavior Protocols in schools, learning centers and health facilities in Europe will be shared.
