Regarding a Recent Incident at the Hyatt Regency Denver: ABAI is aware of the recent incident that occurred while the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP) held their annual convention at the Hyatt Regency Denver hotel, which we have booked for our annual convention this May. The majority of voting Full members of ABAI voted for Position B, which opposes the use of contingent electric skin shock (CESS) under any condition. This is now the official position of the association. Click here to read the statement in full. The ABAI Executive Council appreciates the input and participation of members both during the period of commentary and the final vote.
