Next stop—sunny San Diego! We are pleased to announce ABAI’s return to San Diego, California for the 17th Annual Autism Conference! The event will be held at the Hilton San Diego Bayfront, overlooking the San Diego Bay, and surrounded by alluring ocean views and downtown skylines.

 

Within steps of the hotel, conference attendees will find exciting attractions, dining, shopping, and nightlife. The San Diego Zoo, Birch Aquarium, and Legoland are popular destinations for attendees of all ages.

 

The Hilton San Diego Bayfront provides a complimentary beach bus every weekend to the iconic Coronado Island Beach and has a heated swimming pool onsite.

 

The very walkable Historic Gaslamp Quarter has shopping, dining, and nightlife in a quaint and picturesque setting. The Seaport Village is also a nearby cultural hub which showcases eclectic retailers, art galleries, and cafes, all right near the harbor. Petco Park is home to San Diego’s MLB team, the Padres, and the USS Midway Museum is nearby at the Navy Pier and boasts a collection of historical naval aircraft carriers. No matter your interest, San Diego is sure to have something fun for all conference attendees.

 

San Diego International Airport is the second-busiest single-runway airport in the world. The airport's landing approach is well known for its close proximity to the skyscrapers of downtown San Diego. The San Diego Airport (SAN) is approximately 4 miles, a 15-minute taxi ride, away from the Hilton San Diego Bayfront where the conference will be taking place.
