Abstract:

The ABAI accreditation process relies on site visitors, who serve as peer reviewers, and support programs in meeting rigorous standards while advocating for their needs. This panel discussion is designed for faculty and instructors in higher education training programs who are interested in making a meaningful contribution to the field by becoming an ABAI Accreditation Board site visitor. Panelists will provide an inside look at the collaborative peer review process, highlighting the responsibilities, challenges, and professional rewards of this role. Attendees will gain valuable insights into the site visit process, the qualifications required, and the lasting impact they can have on the future of behavior analytic training programs. If you are passionate about upholding excellence and advancing the field, this is your opportunity to learn more and get involved. There will be time at the end of the session for a brief Q&A with the panelists.
