43rd Annual Convention

On-Site Childcare Program

In support of our convention attendees with childcare needs, ABAI is offering a premium on-site childcare program through a licensed childcare company for children 4 months to 12 years, including those with special needs. This company is a leader in the convention childcare industry with more than 30 years of experience running programs during events and a 15–year partnership with the American Academy of Pediatrics.

Space is extremely limited! Register by February 15, 2017 to secure space and special pricing. If registration does not meet minimum numbers by February 15, ABAI may cancel the program. If this happens, parents will be notified and registration fees will be refunded.

Safe, Trained, Trusted

  • Experienced, screened, and thoroughly trained employees
  • CPR/first aid certified and trained to handle emergencies
  • Secure, convenient rooms located out of the stream of convention traffic flow
  • Photo ID required for check in/out of children
  • Services fully insured

What Parents Need to Know

The program will be held May 27–29, 2017 at the Colorado Convention Center, 7:30 am–7:30 pm.

A low staff-to-child ratio ensures children are engaged:

  • 1:1 for infants 4–5 months old and children with special needs
  • 1:2 for infants 6–11 months old
  • 1:3 for toddlers 1–2 years old
  • 1:5 for children 3–5 years old
  • 1:7 for children 6–12 years old

Rates are $31/hour per child, but ABAI has committed to subsidize half of the registration fees for the first 360 hours of childcare purchased by our attendees. This special limited pricing is $15.50 per hour per child. After the first 360 hours of registration, prices will increase. Parents with 1:1 ratio needs who reserve within four weeks of the event may incur an additional $40 per hour.

Parents provide snacks and meals—bring your own or order food in advance (menu available soon).

You will be notified of the program room location once your registration is confirmed.
