Abstract: The Artificial Intelligence Consortium for Applied Behavior Analysis (AIC ABA) will participate in a question and answer panel session elaborating on their job of AI in behavior analytic services. This panel will discuss considerations to preserve clinical judgement and critical thinking while interacting with AI tools. Relatedly, panelists will discuss human-led AI strategies to keep AI in the role as a hypothesis generator, as opposed to a decision-maker. Suggestions will be provided for what to look for in an AI tool considering AI’s strengths and weaknesses, highlighting compliance considerations. Additionally, the panelists will describe safeguards to ensure quality service delivery.

At the conclusion of this session, participants will be able to:
- Identify at least two strategies to ensure “human-led AI” use.
- Describe at least one potential benefit and one limitation or risk when utilizing AI in ABA.
