Tasuya Kameda

(Meiji Gakuin University)
Tatsuya Kameda is Professor of Mathematical Informatics and Director of the Center for Interdisciplinary Informatics at Meiji Gakuin University, and Professor Emeritus at the University of Tokyo. His research examines how individual behavior scales up to collective outcomes in social and group decision-making. Drawing on evolutionary and adaptationist perspectives, he studies how humans cope with environmental and social uncertainty through social learning. His work combines behavioral experiments and computational modeling to investigate the dynamics that enhance—or undermine—collective intelligence in groups.
