Rebecca Hotchkiss is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Special Education at Bridgewater State University. She also functions as a doctoral-level Board Certified Behavior Analyst and the Behavior Education Treatment Director at The Evergreen Center, a residential facility focused on providing educational services with community living for students with developmental disabilities. Dr. Hotchkiss completed her Master’s and PhD at Teacher College at Columbia University, where she concentrated her research on applying behavior analysis to schooling and verbal behavior. Her research interests include verbal behavior developmental cusps, parametric analyses, and increasing efficiency and effectiveness of behavior change interventions. Additionally, Dr. Hotchkiss specializes in the assessment and treatment of significant and severe challenging behavior.
