Carla Lagorio

Dr. Carla Lagorio is an Associate Professor of Psychology at the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire, where she co-coordinates an undergraduate major in Behavior Analysis. She worked as an undergraduate with Gregory Madden and went on to receive her Ph.D. in experimental psychology under the mentorship of Timothy Hackenberg at the University of Florida. She then completed a 2-year position in behavioral pharmacology at the University of Michigan with Jim Woods and Gail Winger. She is Board Director and Treasurer of the Society for the Quantitative Analyses of Behavior, past President of the Mid-American Association for Behavior Analysis, and has served on the editorial board of The Behavior Analyst (Perspectives on Behavior Science). Her current research questions are broadly focused on quantitative assessments of choice behavior, stemming from the areas of behavioral economics and behavioral pharmacology. In addition, Dr. Lagorio is passionate about several community and environmental sustainability causes – including increasing the adoptability potential of shelter dogs, and researching ways to increase composting and reduce overall levels of student food waste on campus.
