Brett Gelino

Brett Gelino is an assistant professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Massachusetts Lowell. He graduated with his PhD in behavioral psychology from the University of Kansas in 2022 and subsequently completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. Brett’s expertise in decision making spans community, social, and sustainability-related applications, with ongoing interdisciplinary research collaborations focused on infrastructural and public health policy. He has authored over 30 peer-reviewed publications and several book chapters in areas including addictions science, sustainable practice, and community disaster resilience. Brett recently served as a Program Area Coordinator for Association for Behavior Analysis International’s Community, Social, and Sustainability Issues program area and remains an active member of the American Psychological Association Climate Change Advisory Group.
