ABAI Accredited Programs: Oslo and Akershus University College of Applied Sciences
In this program, students acquire knowledge, skills, and competencies for implementing goal-oriented processes of change in complex systems, with well-documented behavioral strategies. The program profile is explicitly behavior analytic, and the intervention methods are empirically based and suitable for systematic measurement and assessment of results. The program educates graduates who can meet challenges in a number of fields of increasing social and technological complexity. The program qualifies students to initiate and manage processes of change at the level of the individual, the group, and the organization. It also prepares candidates for Ph.D. studies.
Bachelor's Program in Psychology With an Emphasis in Behavior Analysis from the Department of Behavioral Science (2014–2019)
The objective of the bachelor's program is to teach the basic competencies required for behavior analytic work with the general population, and to prepare students for post-graduate studies in behavior analytic scientific communities. Graduates of the program should be thoroughly familiar with the concepts of behavior analysis, be able to perform contingency analyses of their own and others’ behavior, and be able to arrange suitable reinforcement contingencies for promoting desired behavior change, always with a view to the ethical and professional standards of the field.
These programs include BACB pre-approved course sequences.
