The Psychological Record (TPR) was established in 1937 and acquired by ABAI in 2014. TPR is a quarterly journal and was founded by renowned interbehaviorist, J. R. Kantor, with one of the most influential American psychologists and founder of the field of behavior analysis, B. F. Skinner, serving as the experimental department editor at the journal’s inception.
TPR publishes empirical and conceptual articles related to the field of behavior analysis, behavior science, and behavior theory. The journal welcomes investigations of basic behavioral processes, as well as translational studies that bridge experimental and applied analyses of behavior. Conceptual articles pertinent to the theory and philosophy of behaviorism are also welcome
