Continuing Education
Use the 2008 Autism Conference DVD/Webcast package to earn up to nine 9 BACB continuing education (CE) credits in the comfort of your own home. This CE opportunity is being extended for a limited time for the very low additional cost of $60. Please note, however, that persons who have received CE while attending in person a conference or convention cannot obtain CE for watching the same events on a Webcast or DVD and passing the quiz.
Purchasers of the DVD/Webcast package who also order the CE option will have 6 months from their date of purchase to fulfill the requirements to successfully earn their BACB credits. CE will be dependant on the successful completion of an on-line quiz, which will be made available upon purchase on the buyer's ABAI Portal Account. The first presentation does not qualify for CE credit. A certificate of completion will be mailed after the online quiz is completed successfully.
In purchasing the CE package, you do so with the following conditions:
- Only the purchaser of the DVD/Webcast package is eligible to earn CE credits for the presentations in the package.
- Each hour-long presentation on your DVD/Webcast package has an associated 10-question quiz that you must pass to earn the one (1) credit for that presentation.
- To pass a quiz and receive credit, you must earn a minimum of 80% (8 correct answers out of 10).
- You have a total of three (3) opportunities to pass each quiz with an 80% minimum score. If you have not received an 80% or higher after three attempts, that quiz will no longer be available on your Portal and you will forfeit the associated credit. Refunds will not be granted for unearned credits.
- You have six (6) months from the date of your purchase to pass the quizzes (9 on-line quizzes, 1 quiz per presentation) and earn your continuing education. After six months, the quizzes relevant to your Webcast/DVD order will no longer be available on your Portal and you will forfeit any unearned credits. Refunds will not be granted for unearned credits.
Access codes will be sent via e-mail, and the DVD will be shipped by April 1.
