In addition to the three restricted funds maintained by SABA, the Sociey maintains unrestricted funds. These funds are considered unrestricted in that they are not designated for a specific purpose but can be put to use as the Society sees fit.
The SABA Board of Directors determines how the unrestricted funds should be allocated and what activities or events they should support. For example, these funds are used to subsidize the SABA award ceremony during ABA International's annual convention.
