Mission/Objectives
HABA is an organization for people interested in behavior analysis and is primarily an interest group.
Description of Membership
Membership primarily comprised of both doctoral- and Master's-level trained behavior analysts. In addition, there are a few other members interested in behavior analysis with no formal training (e.g., a physician, members of the Department of Education). Any person working in any area of behavior analysis in any country may be a member of HABA. HABA shall have four classes of members: full members, associate members, student members, and affiliate members.
Annual or Recurring Events
The Hawai'ian ABA holds quarterly meetings and a yearly conference.

The HABA Newsletter was published twice on-line in the past year (2008-2009).
Specifically of Interest to Behavior Analysts:
As described in our bylaws, HABA is an organization for people interested in behavior analysis and is primarily an interest group. HABA works to promote behavior analysis by (a) promoting and providing training opportunities in behavior analysis; (b) providing a forum for the discussion of research and conceptual issues in behavior analysis; (c) maintaining a Web site containing information about the organization and about behavior analysis in Hawaii and elsewhere; (d) functioning as the Hawaii contact for and representative of the Association of Behavior Analysis International® (ABAI); and (e) promoting cooperation between behavior analytic organizations in other countries, regions, states and localities.
