Specifically of Interest to Behavior Analysts:
Since the causes of dysfunctional behavior often include dysfunctional learning histories, effective solutions will include efficient procedures to facilitate the acquisition of more functional behaviors. Behavior analytic research on the design of more efficient learning programs can help behavior analysts solve the "problem of the first instance."
