Mission Statement
The Behavioral Medicine SIG is a place for individuals interested in clinical applications to health-related problems and social concerns. The primary goal of the SIG is to create a space for practitioners, researchers, and students alike to discuss issues related to behavioral health and medicine.
Description of Membership
Membership is free for ABAI members, and grants you access to on-line discussions with other SIG members and advance notice of upcoming SIG events.
Annual or Recurring Events
Annual meetings are held during business meetings at ABAI's annual convention.
Specifically of Interest to Behavior Analysts
The SIG focuses on creating a multi-disciplinary perspective on the investigation of empirical treatments for behavioral health related problems. Any ABAI members interested in the dissemination of behavioral science in the field of behavioral health and medicine are encouraged to join!
