Mission Statement
The Sex Therapy and Educational Programming (STEP) SIG of ABAI exists to help promote empirically verifiable sex therapy and education techniques and materials, and to promote behavior analytic research in human sexuality.
Description of Membership
Members include professionals, parents, and consumers concerned with empirically verifiable sex therapy and education.

Newsletter, Expo poster, symposium, and meeting during the ABAI annual convention.

The STEP SIG newsletter is distributed at the ABAI convention and posted on the Yahoo group website.
Specifically of Interest to Behavior Analysts
The area of sex therapy and education is one that makes many people uncomfortable. As such, it has often been ignored, with most unfortunate implications. This SIG will help to promote empirically verified education and therapy and further behavior analytic research in sexual phenomena.
