BAP Guidelines for Submissions

Manuscripts

Submit five (5) high-quality copies of the entire manuscript (or one electronic copy, submitted in .pdf or Word format), including figures and tables. No letter-press, glossy prints, photographs, or original artwork should be submitted. Figures should be numbered in pencil on the back (unless submitted electronically) and prepared according to the guidelines.

Cover Letter

Include a letter to the Editor with the following information:

A request for review and possible publication of the manuscript.
A statement indicating that the manuscript has not been previously published and has not been or will not be submitted elsewhere during the review process.
A classification of article into type (refer to "Types of Articles").
The corresponding author's business address, e-mail address, and telephone number as well as any upcoming address change. (This individual will receive copies of the editorial correspondence from the Editor and Associate Editor.)

Title Page

The title page must contain the following:

The title of the paper.
The first and surname of all authors.
The affiliations of each author.
The name, address, e-mail address, and telephone number of the corresponding author.

Format

Manuscripts must be prepared according to APA format: Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (5^th ed.).
