Mission/Objectives
Virginia ABA (VABA) is an organization for people interested in behavior analysis and is primarily an interest group. VABA works to promote behavior analysis by:
- Arranging an annual conference for the discussion of research and conceptual issues in behavior analysis.
- Maintaining a website containing information about the organization and about behavior analysis in Virginia and elsewhere.
- Functioning as the Virginia contact for and affiliate of the Association for Behavior Analysis International.
- Promoting cooperation between behavior analytic organizations in other countries, regions, states, and localities.
Description of Membership
Most members are students or practitioners in school/education settings.

VABA holds an annual conference each spring.
Specifically of Interest to Behavior Analysts
This chapter is of interest to behavior analysts because it arranges the only professional meeting in the Commonwealth of Virginia that is solely behavior analytic in focus and provides BACB CEUs.
