Mission/Objectives

The mission of the South Carolina Association for Behavior Analysis (SC ABA) is to promote the awareness and use of the principles and practices of applied behavior analysis for the delivery of treatment and psychological support services in natural environments. SC ABA a) provides a framework for the sharing of information and ideas among people who are involved or would like to become involved in effective, ethical ABA-based programming; b) supports the partnership between parents and providers involved in ABA-based services; c) encourages quality ABA-based research within the state; and d) promotes socially valid and evidence-based interventions that maintain the dignity of all individuals who receive services.

Description of Membership

Membership is open to anyone who is interested in the application of the principles and procedures of behavior analysis. Currently SC ABA has active members who include, but are not limited to, BCBAs, parents, support providers, teachers, and psychologists from many counties across the state.

Recurring Annual Events

Quarterly meetings.

Specifically of Interest to Behavior Analysts

The chapter aims to establish collaborative relationships with other professionsals and stakeholders, receive current ABA information, and recieve CEUs.
