Mission/Objectives
The objections of the Philippines ABA are:
- To professionalize the field of ABA Practice through education, training and research.
- To actively engage the family in a therapeutic alliance to achieve common goals.
Description of Membership
1. Accredited PABA Member
- Is an individual or organization that has complied and passed all the standards in conducting a behavioral program using the principles and techniques of applied behavior analysis (ABA).
- Having passed the standards, the name of the individual practitioner or organization will be included in the list of qualified ABA practitioners and institutions which will be distributed nationwide.
2. Regular PABA Member
- A regular member includes teachers, parents, and those who have a general interest in ABA, subject to application and acceptance by the association.
- Individual members, representatives, or organization will be entitled to discounts on seminars and workshops organized by PABA.
Annual or Recurring Events
Philippines ABA regularly holds accreditation events, trainings, and workshops.
Specifically of Interest to Behavior Analysts
Presently it is the only organization in the Philippines with the emphasis on ABA that works closely with various groups such as parents, teachers, medical as well as allied medical professionals.
