Mission/Objectives
The New York State Association for Behavior Analysis, Inc. is the state chapter of the Association for Behavior Analysis International. NYSABA represents scientists, scholars, and practitioners in psychology, education, and related fields who reside and/or work in (and outside of) New York State and are interested in the experimental analysis of behavior in all forms. We sponsor local presentations and workshops, and offer CE credits for behavior analysis events in New York, publish a newsletter, and run an annual conference. NYSABA promotes the ethical, humane and effective application of the principles of behavior and learning to all areas of human concern including education, rehabilitation and health care agencies, business, community, and government. NYSABA is committed to maintaining the availability of high-quality, evidenced based professional behavior analysis practice in New York.
Description of Membership
NYSABA's membership is comprised primarily of behavior analysis professionals in New York. In addition, there are a substantial number of consumer (e.g., parent) members.
