Mission/Objectives
The Maryland Association for Behavior Analysis (MABA) is an affiliated chapter of the Association for Behavior Analysis International. The mission of MABA is to promote behavior analysis within the state of Maryland and its surrounding region through the advancement of basic and applied research, service, and training.
Description of Membership
Membership is included with registration for the annual meeting. Currently, there are three levels of membership:
- Full Member: Individuals with graduate degrees (e.g., master's degree or doctorate) in areas related to behavior analysis. Full members are voting members.
- Affiliate Member: Individuals with bachelor's degrees related to behavior analysis and non-degreed persons. Affiliate members are nonvoting members.
- Student Member: Individuals currently enrolled in undergraduate or graduate programs in areas related to behavior analysis. Student members can vote only for MABA student representatives.
Annual or Recurring Events
The 14th Annual Meeting will be held in Baltimore, Maryland, on Friday, November 18, 2011.
Specifically of Interest to Behavior Analysts
We are a regional chapter located in the Northeast. We hold an annual meeting in which we bring in prominent behavior analysts to present on a variety of behavior analytic topics.
