Convention Benefits

Free Expo poster at the ABA International convention

ABA International Accredited programs have the highest visibility at the ABA Expo; they are located right inside the entrance of the poster hall. In addition, the poster fee is waived for accredited programs.

Exhibitor’s booth at the ABA International convention

ABA International Accredited programs interested in exhibiting at the ABA International convention will receive the discount available for organizations with 10 or fewer employees on the cost of a booth. Exhibiting at the convention provides a wonderful opportunity to network with ABA International members, recruit students for your program, and further increase a program’s visibility at the convention.

ABA International Accredited programs can be recognized in a flyer distributed to over 3,300 convention attendees.

Service To Apply, Recruit, and Train (START) Benefits

Free START access

ABA International waives the fees for accredited programs to use the on-line and on-site START program. ABA International Accredited programs may post positions and internships on the ABA International Web site at no cost, and the ABA International staff is available to assist in setting up interviews at the convention for open positions.

START Resource Center

ABA International Accredited programs may bring promotional materials to the START Resource Center at the annual convention. START staff will make accredited program materials available for review and/or distribution to students researching graduate programs.

Advertising Benefits

ABA International publications

ABA International provides space in the ABA Newsletter and in the Convention Program at no cost (for classified or ½ page display ads) to ABA International accredited programs, giving these programs to access promote or advertise to over 4,000 ABA International members.

Web

ABA International will provide a direct link to your program Web site from the ABA International accreditation Web page, encouraging traffic from our site to yours.

Program support

ABA International will send letters to the University administrators of your choice, informing them about the success of your program, its international reputation and status as an ABA International accredited program, and its importance to the field of behavior analysis. ABA International can provide a packet to University administrators, with data about the need for strong behavioral programs, information about employment trends in the field, and other information tailored directly to the needs of your program.
