Missouri ABA

By Jenny Frisbee

The Missouri Association for Behavior Analysis (MOABA) is an organization founded to support and promote scientific research on basic principles of behavior and the effective and ethical application of those principles. Over the past year, MOABA has continued to provide continuing education for the behavior analytic community through its yearly convention and partnering with the Autism Intervention Conference at the University of Missouri, Columbia. Dialogue regarding practice standards for behavior analysts and legislative issues has continued: Todd Streff represented MOABA at the Missouri Blue Ribbon Panel hearing on Autism treatment. Over the next year we plan to continue our dialogue on practice standards and legislative issues in addition to providing behavior analysts continuing education opportunities. This year, elections will be held for several board positions. Current board members include: Jenny Frisbee (President), Kimberly Salls (Vice President), Tami Galensky-Pentz (Secretary), Todd Streff (Treasurer), Kyler Hasl-Wright (Member at Large), Dave Pentz (Member at Large), and Nicole Domachowski (Student Representative) Additional membership, election, and yearly conference information can be found on our Web site at www.moaba.org.
