Israel ABA

By Dr. Amos Rolider

Membership in Israel ABA (IABA) has grown substantially during 2008. Currently, 134 members are registered with the Association in full and affiliate membership status. IABA, in collaboration with the two ABAI/BACB approved programs at Wingate College and University of Tel Aviv, has organized five meetings during which members shared their clinical and research activities with their colleagues. We were blessed to have Drs. Andy Bondy and Doug Greer as our guests from the U.S. who shared their work with the ABA community, conducted workshops, and provided the keynote addresses in those meetings. The highlight of this year was no doubt the Annual IABA Conference held at Wingate College in March, where over 400 participants attended more than 15 sessions. We were honored to have the President of ABAI, Dr. William Heward as our special guest at the conference; his contribution to its success was substantial. In addition, we have completed the translation of the ABAI code of ethics to Hebrew.
