Rehabilitation & Independent Living

By Dr. Michael P. Mozzoni

The Rehabilitation and Independent Living SIG met at the Annual Convention in San Diego. There has been much activity in Washington regarding the return of soldiers with TBI blast injuries, on the heels of the Walter Reed Army Hospital scandal and the media exposure following Bob Woodruff’s injuries, which he suffered while reporting on the Iraq War. DOD is very interested in partnering with the private sector to help returning soldiers recover and integrate back into the community. This SIG has an opportunity to make a real difference. What does ABA have to offer? What are the issues? Find out. Contribute. Be part of the solution.
