The Nevada Association for Behavior Analysis is an affiliated chapter of ABA International with a mission to promote intellectual exchange and professional development in the field of behavior analysis. NABA’s conference will be held in Reno on October 18-20, 2007, in conjunction with a Reunion of UNR Alumni. The single-track conference will feature two keynote speakers, Pat Friman and Brian Iwata. In addition to papers by UNR alumni, a preliminary list of invited speakers includes William Abernathy, William Baum, Tony Biglan, Carl Binder, Kent Johnson, Sam Leigland, Dick Malott, Jack Marr, Caio Miguel, Martha Pelaez, Hayne Reese, Hank Schlinger, Tom Sharpe, and Michele Wallace who will address a broad range of topics. The conference will also feature workshops on autism, behavior assessment, behavioral interventions, gerontology, and organizational behavior management, among other topics, for which CEUs will be available. A Call for Posters & Exhibits, as well as information about hotel accommodations, conference registration and NABA membership, are available at NABA’s Web site: www.unr.edu/psych/behavior/NABA.html.
