Missouri ABA
By Jenny Frisbee
The Missouri Association for Behavior Analysis (MOABA) is an organization founded to support and promote scientific research on basic principles of behavior and the effective and ethical application of those principles. During the past year, MOABA has continued to function as a provider of continuing education for the behavior analytic community through its yearly convention, dialogue on practice standards and legislative issues, and utilize its Website to disperse information regarding behavior analysis and post resources for job opportunities and continuing education for behavior analysts.
Over the next year, we plan to continue our dialogue on practice standards and legislative issues and provide behavior analysts continuing education opportunities. MOABA members and non-members are welcome to attend chapter meetings.
Members are kept up to date with chapter events through our quarterly newsletter and Website. MOABA also holds a yearly convention. The 2007 convention will be held in St. Louis on November 2nd and 3rd at the Holiday Inn Southwest Viking Convention Center. This past year, elections were held for board members. Current board members include: President: Jenny Frisbee, Vice President: Kimberly Salls, Secretary: Tami Galensky-Pentz, Treasurer: Todd Streff, Member at Large: Kyler Hasl-Wright, Member at Large: Dave Pentz, and Student Representative: Nicole Domachowski.
Additional membership, meeting, and conference information can be found on our Web site at www.moaba.org.
