Instructional Design
By Dr. Guy Bruce
Our mission is to promote the application of behavior analysis to the design of effective and efficient learning programs. We do this by organizing symposia at the annual ABA conventions and providing a listserv where all are welcome to discuss instructional design research and projects. If you are interested in learning more about current instructional design work, we hope you attended one or more of our symposia at the annual convention in San Diego, especially Symposium #180, “Instructional Design in Behavior Analysis: What’s New?” To quote the ABA program, “This symposium provides an update, including demonstrations and data, on 18 of the most recent and exciting instructional design projects occurring in our field. Many areas of interest will be represented including higher education, staff development, instructional design for children, design methodology, and dissemination of good instructional design.”
SIG membership is open to any ABA member. To participate in our Website, click on the “Special Interests” link on the ABA Website.
