Clinical Behavior Analysis
By Dr. Ann Branstetter
During this past year, the Clinical SIG of ABA has continued to support the CBM section of ABA through efforts in generating speakers and recognizing those individuals who have made significant contributions to the clinical application of applied behavior analysis. The development of an electronic distribution list has helped in facilitating this goal and has been beneficial in the sharing of ideas and interests.
We have recently decided to place additional resources in addressing our goal of recognizing and encouraging students who have a clinical interest in behavior analysis. In so doing, we accepted abstract submissions from students who presented clinically relevant work at the 2007 ABA conference. Select members of the SIG evaluated and judged these submitted presentations, and an award was presented to the student with the presentation judged to be of the highest quality in terms of research integrity, application, and overall presentation.
Anyone interested in joining the SIG is welcome to attend our yearly meetings, held in conjunction with the annual ABA conference, and/or to contact
Ann Branstetter@MissouriState.edu for further information.
