Virginia ABA

By Dr. Sherry Serdikoff

Established in 2004, the Virginia Association for Behavior Analysis (VABA) is for individuals interested in the science and technology of behavior analysis and its underlying philosophy, radical behaviorism. On March 4, 2006 we held our second annual conference on the campus of James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia. Over 50 individuals attended and enjoyed presentations by Dan Holt, Charlie Catania, Willie DeLeon, Ken Silverman, Phil Hineline, and Theodosia Paclawskyj and viewed poster presentations that featured student research. We are currently planning our third annual conference, tentatively scheduled for March 3, 2007 at the same location. VABA is a Behavior Analysis Certification Board Approved Continuing Education provider and we offer BACB Type 2 Continuing Education Credits at our conference. For more information about VABA, including membership information, visit our Web site at www.v-aba.org.
