Connecticut ABA

By John D. Molteni

The Connecticut Association for Behavior Analysis's mission is to develop and advance the field of behavior analysis within the state of Connecticut through research, education, and dissemination of information. CTABA is dedicated to promoting the theoretical, experimental, and applied analysis of behavior across a wide array of applications and audiences.

In 2008 - 2009, the Chapter continued to focus on increasing active membership and development. To meet these goals, CTABA held its 5th Annual Conference in April, 2009. We had our most successful conference to date with over 130 attendees, an almost 100% increase from the previous year’s attendance. Drs. Richard Foxx, Tony Nevin, Vincent Carbone, Michael Dorsey, and Greg Hanley provided an exceptional core of presentations with multiple workshops, panel discussions, paper sessions, and workshops available for attendees. Additionally, free CEUs and lunch were provided for all participants.

In 2009 - 2010, CTABA will continue to focus on increasing active membership and expanding the annual conference. We also will begin to develop our efforts to support and promote opportunities for behavior analysts provided via legislation within the state.
