ABA Student Committee Program Representatives
In the 2005-2006 academic year, the Student Committee introduced new leadership positions called Program Representatives. Program Representatives function as an advisory board to the three Student Representatives who serve on ABA’s Executive Council. All student members of ABA are eligible to serve as representatives of their training program to the Student Committee, with representation limited to one student per program. Individual programs are responsible for the selection of representatives. Program Representatives attend the annual Student Committee meeting at the ABA convention, communicate with Student Representatives regarding convention event planning and other student issues, and encourage participation in the nomination and election process for Student Representatives.
2006-2007 Program Representatives
We would like to thank the Program Representatives, who played an integral role in planning and carrying out Student Committee-sponsored events at the ABA 2007 Annual Convention.

Become a Program Representative
We are asking that programs select their new program representatives as soon as possible and no later than September 1st. Each Program Representative should send the following information via e-mail to Corina Jimenez-Gomez:
- Your name
- The name of your college or university and program
- Your year in the program
- How your program has chosen to select its representative
Once this information is received, Program Representatives will become members of the ABA Student Committee listserv. We look forward to working with you!
Please note the following important points:
- You do not have to be a student in a “Behavior Analysis” program to be a Program Representative. If you are a student member of ABA, you are eligible.
- Undergraduate students are encouraged to participate too! A single school may have both a graduate and undergraduate Program Representative, as the undergraduate program may be considered separate from the graduate program.
- A single school may have more than one Program Representative if it has ABA student members in more than one program (e.g., Behavior Analysis, School Psychology, etc.).
